  I had a bill that slipped through the cracks when I moved, I owed it I paid it.
  
  But they lied to me and said the bill had been mailed back as a ploy as to why it was in collections.
  
  when I called and talked to the utility they said nothing had been mailed back, so I confronted the collection lady and she back pedaled and said they tried to mail me a letter and it had been mailed back due to them putting the wrong address on it.
  
  I paid them, this was my fault..... but there is no need to lie to me about mailing me a bill.
